How to Apply
For the 2026-2027 academic year, the department is pleased to offer two postdoctoral clinical fellowship positions that begin Fall 2026. The fellowship is a full-time, one-year appointment that will end in June of the following year. Fellows receive a stipend of $58,000 for the training year and resident and fellow benefits provided by UC Davis.

Postdoctoral Fellowship
Applicants must have:
- Attended an APA-accredited doctoral program, preferably in clinical or counseling psychology (school psychology program applicants with a strong emphasis in clinical psychology will also be considered)
- Attended an APA-accredited internship
- Completed all requirements for their doctoral degree prior to the fellowship start date

Interested applicants must submit their applications using the APPIC Application for Psychology Fellowships (APPA CAS Applicant Portal) by the advertised deadline. Early submission is recommended, and applications are reviewed as they are received.
Prospective candidates will be notified via email whether or not they will be granted a virtual interview (via Zoom) with the training director and supervisors.

Prepare the following items for submission on the APPA CAS Applicant Portal:
- A cover letter
- A current curriculum vitae
- A comprehensive psychological assessment report of a child/adolescent client (with all client identifiers redacted)
- Three signed letters of recommendation (preferably including clinical supervisors and/or training directors from your current internship and recent externships)
Notification of interview offers will be sent via email by Monday, December 22, 2025. Our interviews will be held in early January 2026.
