Our training programs foster lifelong learning and support the professional development of trainees.

UC Davis Health is dedicated to advancing the education and training of highly qualified behavioral health professionals in psychology and psychiatry.
Our Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology (CCAP) training programs exemplify this commitment to lifelong learning. We cultivate an environment that promotes growth across all areas of professional competency by recognizing and building upon each trainee’s strengths while supporting their continued development. We also value and honor the unique cultural identities that trainees bring to our team, clinic, and community.
We offer two training programs in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology in the form of a doctoral internship and a postdoctoral fellowship.
Our one-year doctoral internship integrates clinical training with a strong academic approach.
Fellows receive advanced training and provide direct psychological services during this one-year program.

Our faculty also have clinical expertise in in psychotherapy and comprehensive psychological assessment with infants, children, adolescents and adults from culturally and ethnically diverse backgrounds with complex clinical presentations. In addition to our full-time faculty, our program includes several volunteer clinical faculty representing a wide range of training and experience.
