If you are looking for help with problems related to substance-use such as alcohol, opioids, prescription medications or other substances, our clinic provides compassionate treatment on an outpatient basis. Our addiction psychiatrists are recognized leaders in their specialties and use advanced treatment approaches based on current clinical research.
In addition to providing evidence-based treatment of substance use disorders, our physicians seek to listen and understand the unique needs and situations of their patients so they can formulate a collaborative, adaptable and compassionate treatment plan that better helps patients live fuller and healthier lives.

Mental and behavioral health services require a referral from your primary care provider. Please contact your primary care provider to request one. Once you have a referral, have the following information ready when scheduling an appointment for yourself or a loved one:
To refer a patient to us, please submit an Electronic Referral Intake Form. If you have questions, our referral specialists are available to help connect your patient with the appropriate UC Davis mental health provider and services. You may also visit our Physician and Transfer Referral Center for help.
