Explore our addiction psychiatry services
Our clinic provides compassionate treatment on an outpatient basis for help related to addiction to substances such as alcohol, opioids, prescription medications, cannabis or other substances.
Appointments and Referrals
For Patients
Mental and behavioral health services require a referral from your primary care provider. Please contact your primary care provider to request one. Once you have a referral, have the following information ready when scheduling an appointment for yourself or a loved one:
- Your (or your dependent’s) insurance card and/or eligibility information
- A list of current medications you or your loved one are taking
- A method of payment for your insurance co-payment, if applicable
- Any updates to your address, employment, or insurance coverage, if applicable
For Referring Physicians
To refer a patient to us, please submit an Electronic Referral Intake Form. If you have questions, our referral specialists are available to help connect your patient with the appropriate UC Davis mental health provider and services. You may also visit our Physician and Transfer Referral Center for help.

The building is located at the corner of Stockton Blvd. and Gerber Ave. Parking and entry are in the back of the building.

If your care provider determines that video visits are appropriate for you, you can schedule visits through the MyUCDavisHealth portal.
