Why UC Davis Orthopaedic Surgery?   
I got a chance to rotate at UC Davis as an AI. Particularly noteworthy things I experienced were the camaraderie, commitment to excellence, and high standards of the residents. These are qualities of the training environment that I want to immerse myself in. Additionally, Northern California is my home, and being so close to family is an added bonus. 

Favorite thing to do in the Sacramento area?
Explore the food scene with my girlfriend Caroline. Skiing in Lake Tahoe, day trips in Napa. Hosting poker nights, fishing the Sacramento and American River. 

Fun fact about you?     
In 2009, I was ranked 19th in the world in the video game Madden NFL on Xbox.
