CalCARES Publications
The California Cancer Reporting and Epidemiologic Surveillance (CalCARES) Program, within UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center, partners with the California Department of Public Health to manage day- to-day operations of the California Cancer Registry (CCR). The CCR is California’s statewide, population- based cancer surveillance system that collects information on almost all cancers diagnosed. Through this partnership, CalCARES has produced numerous reports on the impact of cancer. By providing baseline information on the burden of cancer within the diverse population living in the state, CalCARES helps to identify disparities and promote equitable health care for all Californians.
