Dr. Abidi believes in working closely with her patients to reach the best medical and surgical treatment decisions. She understands the toll breast cancer takes on an individual and their loved ones, and she strives to educate and empower her patients to understand all of their care options.
Dr. Abidi collaborates with her colleagues in Pathology, Radiology, Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Genetics, and Plastic/Reconstructive Surgery to provide a multidisciplinary team-based approach to cancer care.
Dr. Abidi is a fellowship-trained breast surgical oncologist offering surgical care for all benign and malignant disorders of the breast. She works closely with her colleagues to provide an individualized and comprehensive treatment plan for breast cancer care, using minimally-invasive surgical techniques.
Dr. Abidi's research interests include breast cancer in postmenopausal women, metastatic breast cancer, and education of surgical principles.
