Visiting Pathology Resident Elective for Trainees at UC Davis School of Medicine
The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is excited to announce a unique opportunity for visiting pathology residents interested in pursuing more experience in surgical pathology. We are offering a one-month elective surgical pathology rotation to eligible candidates.
Third or fourth-year pathology residents from other schools may choose to participate in an in-person surgical pathology rotation at the UC Davis School of Medicine, Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.
Students in the program will receive:
- Reimbursement of travel costs to and from Sacramento; travel must be completed within a week of rotation dates (up to $1000)
- Reimbursement of food costs (up to $500)
- Reimbursement of housing expenses (up to $1500)
- Unique networking opportunities with Pathology Department faculty, residents, and fellows
Eligibility
Eligible participants are full-time, third or fourth-year pathology residents in good standing at an accredited U.S. institution. Residents remain registered at their own program while participating in an up to one month surgical pathology rotation at UC Davis. Each applicant must complete an application form.
