I’ll be upfront, the downside of this house is that as it is approximately 104 years old, we can hear each other moving around more than in a newer home, and the stairs/floorboards are a little creaky. Plus the heat/AC gets a little pricey in peak winter/summer. 

We’d consider it a bonus for our new housemate to have a small dog. Our dog generally gets along really well with other small dogs, but it’d be preferable to have them meet just to be certain they’d both be happy. Open to cats, they just have to be nice to small dogs, lol…he’s gotten bullied by cats before. Landlord requests that any pet be smaller and spayed/neutered.
