  • Internal Medicine Grand Rounds - The Internal Medicine Grand Rounds program takes place every Thursday from noon-1 p.m. in the PSSB Auditorium, Room G300. Visit the Internal Medicine Events Calendar to confirm dates.
  • Neurology Grand Rounds - Neurology Grand Rounds are held Tuesdays from 1-2 p.m. via Zoom or WebEx. To be added to the neurology grand rounds listerv or for access to archived videos, please email Toya Varize at tvarize@ucdavis.edu.
  • Nursing Advanced Practice Grand Rounds - Nursing Advanced Practice Grand Rounds are held on the first Tuesday of each month from noon- 1 p.m.

  • Orthopaedic Surgery Grand Rounds - The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery hosts Grand Rounds from 7-8 a.m. on the second Tuesday of every month at Shriner's Hospital.   • Pathology Grand Rounds - The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Grand Rounds are held on the first Wednesday of the month in the Pathology Building, PATH 1002.
  • Pediatric Grand Rounds - Pediatric Grand Rounds are held every Friday from 8-9 a.m. via WebEx and in person at the Patient Services Support Building (PSSB) Auditorium, Room G0300.
  • Plastic Surgery Grand Rounds - The Department of Surgery hosts Plastic Surgery Grand Rounds from 7-9 a.m. every Tuesday at the Cypress Building. For dates and event information, please visit the CME Education Calendar and search for "Plastic Surgery Grand Rounds". 
  • Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences Grand Rounds - The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences hosts Psychiatry Grand Rounds from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on the second and fourth Fridays of each month virtually.   • Faculty and Professional Development offers leadership programs that provide opportunities for faculty to develop and enhance their leadership skills, gain insights from accomplished leaders and engage with each other in a supportive environment.
  • Faculty Leadership Academy is a workshop series offered by Academic Affairs for faculty with tenure or security of employment who have demonstrated the potential for leadership and who may aspire to join the ranks of academic leaders. Nominations are solicited from each Dean, and eligible faculty may also nominate themselves.

  • The Mentoring Academy for Research Excellence focuses on disseminating mentoring best practices for faculty in the health sciences. Workshops for mentees and mentors address how to foster an environment that values and supports mentoring in research, education and career progression. 
  • Graduate Studies Mentoring Resources lists mentor and mentee opportunities and resources for graduate students, postdocs, and faculty. 
  • A Mentoring Toolkit for mentors and mentees at all career stages is offered by UC Davis Health Human Resources. 

  • UC Center Sacramento offers opportunities for graduate students, postdocs and faculty to learn about and engage in policy topics through their Wednesday Speaker Series, and Research Collaboratives
  • The California Council on Science and Technology is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization established via the California State Legislature to provide objective advice from California's scientists and research institutions on policy issues involving science. Check out their calendar of upcoming events to find out about upcoming testimonies, expert briefings, workshops, or other events.
