• Integrated Biomedical Sciences Seminar Series
  The Department of Cell Biology and Human Anatomy holds its Integrated Biomedical Sciences Seminar Series on Mondays at noon via Zoom (unless otherwise noted).
• CHPR Weekly Health Services Research Seminar Series
  The Center for Healthcare Policy and Research (CHPR) offers Health Services Research seminars weekly. This series features speakers from UC Davis and other institutions whose research and policy presentations relate to health services research. This seminar series focuses on research in progress, recently completed research, innovative research methods, discussions of grant proposal ideas, and practice presentations. Seminars are held each Wednesday, noon to 1 p.m., via Zoom during the Fall, Winter and Spring academic quarters at UC Davis (but not on University holidays).
• CTSC Healthcare Delivery Science Seminar Series
  The CTSC Healthcare Delivery Science Program aims to shorten the time between the completion of clinical research and the adoption of findings into routine health care practice. The CTSC’s HDS program is providing this seminar series on research and practice in this field, featuring UC Davis Health physician scientists presenting the latest research and clinical applications. The intended audience is clinicians and health researchers. Seminars are held monthly via Zoom.
• Applied Statistics for Translational Researchers Seminar Series
  The Applied Statistics for Translational Researchers Seminar Series, produced in collaboration with the UC Davis MIND Institute's Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Research Center, UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center, and the UC Davis Environmental Health Sciences Center, consists of periodic seminars on a wide variety of topics in biostatistics, study design and data analysis. Seminars are suitable for clinical or translational scientists/scholars in any biomedical or health-related field at the faculty, postdoc, fellows, resident, student or staff levels. No prior statistical knowledge is assumed.
• UC Davis MIND Institute’s Distinguished Lecturer Series 
  The UC Davis MIND Institute’s Distinguished Lecturer Series are public lectures by nationally and internationally recognized researchers in neurodevelopmental disabilities. Previously recorded lectures are available for viewing.
• MIND Institute Research Seminar Series
  The MIND Institute hosts a Research Seminar Series from 9-10:30 a.m. every Friday at the MIND Institute, Suite 1112. Sessions are held from September through June. For dates and event information, please visit the CME Education Calendar and search for ‘MIND Institute Research Seminar Series’.
• General Medicine Works In Progress Seminars
  These seminars take place every third Wednesday of the month, 11 a.m.- noon, via Zoom. Scholars who are interested in participating should contact Stephen Henry at sghenry@ucdavis.edu for more details.
• Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine (BMM) Research in Progress Seminar Series
  The (BMM) Research in Progress Seminars are hosted by the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine and are held on Thursdays from 12-1 p.m. via Zoom
• U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Health Economics Seminar Series: Econometrics with Observational Data (HEC)
  This seminar series is intended to provide an introduction to econometric methods used to analyze data in health services research. Topics will include the linear regression model; research design; propensity scores; the instrumental variable model; nonlinear regression models; binary, count, and categorical dependent variables; and cost as the dependent variable. Seminar material will assume knowledge of basic probability and statistics and familiarity with the linear regression model.
• Human Genomics Seminar Series
  The Human Genomics Seminar Series, presented by the UC Davis MIND Institute and the Department of Pediatrics, is sponsored by the UC Davis Health Office of Continuing Medical Education. The seminars are designed for physicians, clinical staff, and researchers.

• Internal Medicine Grand Rounds - The Internal Medicine Grand Rounds program takes place every Thursday from noon-1 p.m. in the PSSB Auditorium, Room G300. Visit the Internal Medicine Events Calendar to confirm dates.

• Nursing Advanced Practice Grand Rounds - Nursing Advanced Practice Grand Rounds are held on the first Tuesday of each month from noon- 1 p.m.

• Orthopaedic Surgery Grand Rounds - The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery hosts Grand Rounds from 7-8 a.m. on the second Tuesday of every month at Shriner's Hospital. • Pathology Grand Rounds - The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Grand Rounds are held on the first Wednesday of the month in the Pathology Building, PATH 1002.
• Pediatric Grand Rounds - Pediatric Grand Rounds are held every Friday from 8-9 a.m. via WebEx and in person at the Patient Services Support Building (PSSB) Auditorium, Room G0300.
• Plastic Surgery Grand Rounds - The Department of Surgery hosts Plastic Surgery Grand Rounds from 7-9 a.m. every Tuesday at the Cypress Building. For dates and event information, please visit the CME Education Calendar and search for "Plastic Surgery Grand Rounds". 
• Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences Grand Rounds - The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences hosts Psychiatry Grand Rounds from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on the second and fourth Fridays of each month virtually. • The Mike and Renee Child Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship serves as a springboard for innovations developed in university, corporate and national labs programs. The institute helps faculty, postdocs, graduate students and undergraduates, as well as scientists working outside academia — to see the path from cause to effect and to recognize in themselves the ability to walk it. Offerings include Entrepreneurship Academies, Big Bang! Business Competition, and Business Development Fellowships.
• InnovationAccess in the Office of Research provides services that connect research to the marketplace and is focused specifically on protecting and commercializing intellectual property as well as fostering entrepreneurship within the campus community. UC Davis’ Venture Catalyst facilitates the translation of university research and technology by driving the development of new ventures.\

• Faculty and Professional Development offers leadership programs that provide opportunities for faculty to develop and enhance their leadership skills, gain insights from accomplished leaders and engage with each other in a supportive environment.
• Faculty Leadership Academy is a workshop series offered by Academic Affairs for faculty with tenure or security of employment who have demonstrated the potential for leadership and who may aspire to join the ranks of academic leaders. Nominations are solicited from each Dean, and eligible faculty may also nominate themselves.

• The Mentoring Academy for Research Excellence focuses on disseminating mentoring best practices for faculty in the health sciences. Workshops for mentees and mentors address how to foster an environment that values and supports mentoring in research, education and career progression. 
• Graduate Studies Mentoring Resources lists mentor and mentee opportunities and resources for graduate students, postdocs, and faculty. 
• A Mentoring Toolkit for mentors and mentees at all career stages is offered by UC Davis Health Human Resources. 

• UC Center Sacramento offers opportunities for graduate students, postdocs and faculty to learn about and engage in policy topics through their Wednesday Speaker Series, and Research Collaboratives. 
• The California Council on Science and Technology is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization established via the California State Legislature to provide objective advice from California's scientists and research institutions on policy issues involving science. Check out their calendar of upcoming events to find out about upcoming testimonies, expert briefings, workshops, or other events. 
• Become and advocate through the UC Advocacy Network (UCAN), a community of committed people who lend their voices to shape state and federal policies promoting the university’s mission of education, research and public service.

The Project Management Certificate Program is offered by Continuing and Professional Education and is a rigorous, reality-based program designed to give working professionals the practical knowledge, tools and techniques that can be applied in their jobs the very next day.

• The Center for Educational Effectiveness (CEE) offers a variety of resources to support faculty teaching including Faculty Learning Communities, consultations, workshops and fellowship programs.
• Graduate Students and Postdocs can develop teaching skills through offerings at CEE such as Graduate Teaching Communities, courses, consultations, and workshops.
• Professors for the Future is a year-long competitive fellowship program offered by Graduate Studies designed to recognize and develop the leadership skills of outstanding graduate students and postdoctoral scholars who have demonstrated their commitment to professionalism, integrity, and academic service
