Developer/Analyst – Research IT & CTSC BIC

Jeff partners with researchers, clinicians, and IT teams to support biospecimen research at UC Davis Health. He serves as the technical lead for the Freezerworks biospecimen management platform, overseeing system administration, authentication, integrations, and ongoing operational support. Working at the intersection of research and IT as an ETL developer and analyst, he designs and maintains data workflows that ensure biospecimen data is secure, reliable, and well-governed. By combining system administration, data engineering, and process improvement, Jeff helps ensure biospecimen data is ready to support translational research.

Outside of work, Jeff enjoys camping, kayaking, going to concerts and sporting events, and tinkering on projects at the local library maker space.
