The activities and direction of the UC Davis Clinical and Translational Science Center (CTSC) are currently governed by two distinct oversight committees plus a program evaluation team. Additionally, the Core Collaborator Leadership Board and Trainee Community Board are under development and will be incorporated into our administrative and oversight structure.

Kitchen Cabinet

The Kitchen Cabinet is made up of center leadership, faculty directors, and staff program managers that meet on a regular basis to address operations, strategy, prioritization, infrastructure, and resource management.

School of Medicine Office of Research Evaluation Unit for the CTSC

The UC Davis School of Medicine Office of Research Evaluation team monitors and evaluates our CTSC programs on an ongoing basis to assess our impact on research capabilities and its success in forming research teams of the future. Specifically, they help our faculty and staff direct resources and effort to meet the aims stated in the grant. They also play an essential role in our annual reporting activities by gathering information, analyzing results, and preparing a summary to describe our impact. The Evaluation team, in collaboration with the newly formed Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) team, leads this effort and helps us assess our performance and “turn the curve” when appropriate.
