Philosophy of Care

My goal is to not only provide excellent eyecare to our patients but to empower them knowledge related to their condition so they can better self manage their heatlh.  My 29 years of experience has taught me that most successful and happy patients are those that understands their condition and treatment options. So it is my hope that all patients leave our service with the knowledge and empowerment to make the right decisions for their well being. 

Clinical Interests

Dr. Tong specializes in pediatric optometry eyecare. His clinial interests include binocular vision disorders, strabismus and amblyopia "lazy eye" conditions for both children and adults. Dr. Tong provides eye care for patients of all ages including those with special needs and non-verbal individuals.  

In addition, Dr. Tong provide comprehensive and urgent eye care to patients of all ages. He routinely sees patient with diabetes, hypertension, and other chronic medical conditions.
