Philosophy of Care

Alison believes in person first, consent based, and trauma informed care. She has worked throughout her career to provide children and teens with choice and autonomy whenever possible in care, treatment, and exams. She believes in listening to her patients and their families and allowing them a to have voice in their own care.

Clinical Interests

Alison Sullivan is a family nurse practitioner specializing in pediatric urology. She has additional certification as a diabetes care and education specialist and has a special clinical interest in adolescent health and development.

Research/Academic Interests

Alison has special academic and research interest in anxiety and trauma reduction in children and families surrounding medical treatment and care.
