Mid-career Investigator Award in Patient Oriented Research

The goals of the Mid-career Investigator Award in Patient Oriented Research award are to provide mentorship and teaching around clinical research in musculoskeletal diseases to junior investigators by conducting interdisciplinary clinical research seminars that provide a forum for junior investigators to present their research, teaching a seminar on developing a clinical research protocol, mentoring one on one with junior investigators in clinical and translation research.

As musculoskeletal diseases are common in the elderly, we believe encouraging and mentoring junior investigators will help to inform and develop strategies to reduce the burden to society of these disabling diseases.
