Clinical Interests

Dr. Wise diagnoses and treats a range of rheumatologic conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, osteoarthritis and others. As Associate Vice Chair for Clinical Research for the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, he also oversees clinical trials related to arthritis and treatments for it.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Wise is a clinical and basic researcher with research interests in osteoarthritis and other forms of arthritis, sex differences, clinical trials, mindfulness and compassion, and pain.
