Research Administration Training Program

School of Medicine Guided Research Administration and Networking Training (SoMGRANT)

Coming Fall 2025

The Research Administration unit is developing a comprehensive research administration training program. This ambitious project is poised to empower and equip all staff involved in supporting research endeavors across our esteemed institution.

Central to our endeavor is establishing enhanced standardization and adept management practices for extramural contracts and grants awarded to the School of Medicine's dynamic research enterprise. With a keen focus on optimizing the "pre-award" and "post-award" phases of the award management life cycle and research compliance, our goal is to fortify operational integrity and resilience against potential risks such as inadvertent misreporting, fraud, and abuse.

By harnessing the power of blended learning, the program will deploy a versatile array of delivery methods, ensuring accessibility and engagement. Participants will benefit from interactive online sessions, comprehensive self-paced resources, dynamic discussion forums, and collaborative in-person projects tailored to accommodate diverse learning styles and schedules.
