Cancer Research Symposium Abstract Submission Guidelines
The 32nd Annual Symposium will take place Thursday, October 29 and Friday, October 30, 2026. Full, Associate, and Affiliate scholars of the Cancer Center are invited to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations. Oncology-related research of all types is eligible for submission.

- Submission Opens: April 23, 2026
- Submission Deadline: June 15, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.
- Notification to Authors: July 6, 2026
- Withdrawal Deadline: July 13, 2026
Poster Presentations
- Submission Opens: April 23, 2026
- Submission Deadline: August 21, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.
- Notification to Authors: September 4, 2026
- Withdrawal Deadline: September 11, 2026
Abstract Eligibility
- Oncology-related research of all types
- Research should be original and address scientific questions, detail clinical observations, or contain primary scientific data
- Corrections will not be allowed after the submission deadline
Abstract Guidelines
- Title: Must be in ALL CAPS
- Author List: Do not include credentials
- Non-presenting authors will follow the presenting author. Include first and last names only.
- Author Affiliations: Include department, university, city, and state (e.g., Department of Neurology). Separate multiple affiliations with semicolons. Graduate students should list departments, not graduate groups.
- Abstract Body: Limited to 350 words
Abstract Review & Notification
Abstracts will be reviewed by the Symposium Steering Committee. Submissions that do not follow formatting guidelines will not be accepted. Oral presenting authors will receive notification via email on July 6, 2026. Poster presenting authors will receive notification via email on September 4, 2026.
