The Affiliate Scholar Award of Excellence recognizes exemplary achievements in broad areas including, but not limited to research, policy, clinical care, and community outreach.

Open to undergraduate, postbaccalaureate, graduate (Ph.D., M.S.), postdoctoral, and health professional students (Nursing, Medicine, Veterinary, MPH) at UC Davis. Up to three awards are given each year, including one award for undergraduate and two awards for graduate students.
Award nominees should demonstrate excellence in one or more areas including, but not limited to research, policy, clinical care, and community outreach. The award is based on faculty nomination.

🤝 Leadership and Community Engagement
- Commitment to teamwork and collaboration
- Service, mentoring, and teaching

📩 Nominations are by faculty only (mentors, advisors, or collaborators).
- Submit a letter outlining the nominee’s excellence
- Highlight their achievements and contributions
- Why are you nominating the student and upload in a PDF format (one file)
