The Thomas P. Raley Foundation gave $500,000 to support the DICE Method in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and Alzheimer’s disease research.

Margaret and David Steward gave $500,000 to support School of Medicine junior faculty research.

Education

Innovative UC Davis interprofessional education gives the health care workforce of tomorrow the skills and values needed to lead change and improve health for all.

    • by closing the primary care gap
  • Health Professions Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) Awards from INSIGHT Into Diversity magazine for the School of Medicine and School of Nursing.
  • First in UC system to offer a Doctor of Nursing Practice — Nurse Anesthesia Degree Program to address a workforce challenge in California.
  • The Center for Health and Technology offers telehealth education programs for community providers, students and residents, with collaborations around specific conditions.
