The advanced heart failure program at UC Davis Health is expanding its services to include heart transplantation. Historically, the UC Davis program has provided a wide range of heart failure services including temporary mechanical circulatory support and left ventricular assist devices for patients with cardiogenic shock and advanced heart failure.
Our multidisciplinary team offers excellent support for all heart transplant-related needs and comprises of highly trained transplant cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, pharmacists, and nurses. UC Davis already has one of the country’s leading high volume kidney transplant programs, with exceptional posttransplant outcomes.
Our program includes an individualized approach, compassionate care, evidenced based transplant methodologies, and a commitment to close partnerships with referring physicians. We are dedicated to helping your patients navigate their transplant journey and provide ongoing resources for post-transplant care.
