Associate Division Chief, Physics Education
Professor
Dr. Jung's clinical interests are directly related to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). He provides oversight of MRI quality assurance programs in Radiology, optimizing MRI protocols for routine exams and special exams, such as for patients with implants, and serves as an MRI safety expert for departmental MRI safety program.
Dr. Jung's academic work has focused on the development of novel structural and functional neuroimaging techniques, which have resulted in a variety of innovations, and the application of structural and functional imaging methods to study normal development/aging and a variety of diseases affecting the central nervous system.
