Work for a Top Public University
Year after year, UC Davis continues to show why it’s one of the nation’s leading public universities and a top research institution. UC Davis Health is a hub of innovation where students, trainees, faculty and staff bring unique and creative approaches to providing the highest quality patient care. Harnessing the power of an entire university’s nationally ranked resources and research, our teams tackle the most pressing health care issues facing the world today.
As the region’s only academic medical center, we play a vital role in serving a 33-county, 65,000-square-mile area that stretches north to the Oregon border and east to Nevada. The radiology department provides imaging, interventional and therapeutic procedures to patients of all ages, across numerous specialties, and works in a variety of clinical and research settings including our level I Trauma Center, state-of-the-art Children’s Surgery Center, EXPLORER Molecular Imaging Center, and our new and upcoming outpatient surgery center – the 48X Complex – opening in 2025.
Our faculty have a long track record of developing new imaging instruments, approaches to creating and analyzing radiological images, and methods for diagnosing and treating patients. We are also proud of our role in educating tomorrow’s medical imaging providers, pioneers and leaders, as well as our work to support sustainability in our energy use and create an environment for diversity, equity, and community, based on the UC Davis Principles of Community.
