The following ancillary breast cancer screening tests are available at the UC Davis Breast Imaging Center (ACC, Suite 500, UC Davis Medical Center):

Screening Breast MRI
3-D Mammography (also called breast tomosynthesis)

Ancillary screening should be ordered only after an assessment of breast cancer risk and consideration of the risks and benefits of additional screening.

In some UC Davis patients, 3-D mammography (tomosynthesis) is being performed as part of the routine mammogram. The header on the screening mammography report will state when tomosynthesis has already been performed in a patient with dense breasts.
