Sarah Angel
Sarah started her career in health care working as a massage therapist in small clinics 1998. Sarah graduated with her Master’s in Physical Therapy in 2003 from the University of the Pacific in Stockton. Sarah has worked in many environments and with many populations of patients in Physical Therapy from pediatrics to geriatrics. She has worked extensively with patients who are newly post op from orthopedic surgeries in the hospital setting. In the outpatient setting, Sarah’s focus is on finding what works for each individual within the setting of their own life. She finds joy in helping people incorporate taking care of their bodies and health into their busy daily lives. It is important to Sarah that the patient feels motivated and actively seeks to help the patient find what motivates them to work to feel better. Sarah feels that manual therapy is a highly effective treatment for correcting muscle imbalances and reducing pain and inflammation thus allowing patients to complete exercises more effectively and without increasing their pain. In her free time, Sarah enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading and being outdoors as much as possible.
Michelle Bauer
Michelle received her Masters in Physical Therapy from Wester University of Health Sciences and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Arizona School of Health Sciences. She has worked at UC Davis Health since 2002 working in the inpatient setting with oncology and transplant patients. After working for 10 years in the inpatient setting, she transitioned to working in the outpatient setting, initially at the Ellison building and at the Carmichael/Citrus Heights PCN. Outside of work, Michelle enjoys spending time with friends and family (often cheering on her favorite sports teams), playing with her dogs, gardening, cooking, reading, knitting and traveling.
Jennifer Beane Camisa
Jennifer graduated from California State University Sacramento with her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and completed her Master’s in Physical Therapy at CSU Sacramento in 2005. Jennifer has worked at UC Davis Medical Center since 2006 primarily treating a wide variety of pediatric and adult orthopedic patients in the outpatient setting. Over the last eight years Jen developed a subspecialty in Pediatric Sports Rehab treating teens and school-aged children with a variety of sports and orthopedic injuries. She enjoys working with these patients and their parents to help them return to play. In addition, she works with pediatric orthopedic oncology patients and assists with the Pediatric, Adolescent and Young Adult Sarcoma multi-disciplinary clinic. She is a Certified Clinical Instructor through the APTA and has mentored several PT students over the years. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends
Lisa Griffin
Lisa attended California State University, Sacramento for her Bachelors of Science in Physical Education Pre-Therapy. She earned her Master’s of Physical Therapy at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland in 1993. Lisa started her physical therapy career with UC Davis and over the past 27 years has worked in all clinical settings of therapy, including acute/subacute, inpatient rehab, home health and outpatient. She has worked in the outpatient setting for over 20 years, with her areas of interest being orthopedic and sports rehabilitation. She is a dedicated evidence based practitioner and continues to learn and grow her clinical skills through continuing education coursework and professional webinars. She strives toward helping each individual achieve their functional and recreational goals in order to contribute to overall health and well being. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors which includes paddle boarding, hiking, and camping as well as spending time with family, friends and her dogs.
Kurtis Hallam
Kurtis graduated from Andrews University in 2014 with his doctorate in physical therapy. He has since been working in the greater Sacramento/Roseville area in private practice outpatient clinics. His primary specialty is orthopedics with an emphasis in manual therapy treatment techniques. Aside from orthopedics, he also has an interest in vestibular rehabilitation in which he has taken several continuing education courses. When not at work Kurtis enjoys a variety of outdoor activities including; snowboarding, wakeboarding/boating, camping and golfing. Most importantly he enjoys spending time with his wife and two dogs Gus and Nana.
Marie Herrera
Marie Herrera earned her Bachelors in Physical Therapy and Masters in Business Administration major in healthcare administration in the Philippines. Marie has worked in all clinical settings of therapy, including acute/subacute, inpatient rehab, home health, outpatient and campus based as clinical internship coordinator . Prior to her work at UC Davis, Marie worked in the outpatient setting for over 15 years, specializing in in advanced wound care biologics and lymphedema.
Marie came to work at UC Davis Medical Center seven years ago. Initially, she spearheaded the early mobility program in the Medical Specialty ICU. Over a year ago, she transitioned to the Outpatient clinic at UC Davis to help create the Wound Care Clinic there. Marie has received extensive wound internship training under Wound Care Program at Baylor University in Dallas Texas and Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles. She has been recognized as a Certified Wound Specialist by the American Board of Wound Management for the last 15 years. She also is a certified Lymphedema therapist after training at the Norton Lymphatic School.
Marie strives toward helping each individual heal their wounds and assist lymphedema patients with good functional outcomes.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, shopping and reading.
Pauline Hutton
Pauline graduated from UC Davis with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. She has worked in nearly all areas and settings of physical therapy in well over 25 years of practice. In her free time, she enjoys food, family, friends, and watching basketball.
Maddie Smiley-Irby
Maddie completed her Bachelor’s degree in Managerial Economics from UC Davis. She then received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and Master’s in Public Health from New York Medical College. Maddie has been working at UCDMC since 2017. She currently works with women of all ages with pelvic floor dysfunction. Maddie’s specialty areas include pregnancy, post-partum, incontinence and elimination disorders, as well as pelvic and sexual pain. Maddie is in the process of completing her certification in pelvic floor rehabilitation. In her spare time, Maddie enjoys traveling, Pilates, and cooking.
Tyrone Jenkins
Tyrone worked as a Personal Trainer before deciding to continue his education in Physical Therapy. Tyrone graduated from the Cerritos Collage Physical Therapy Assistant Program in 2004. He has worked at UC Davis Medical Center since 2011 starting in the Rehabilitation Pediatric Unit and transitioning to outpatient Physical Therapy. Tyrone has assisted in managing and teaching Aquatic Therapy along with teaching core stability and postural awareness through S.L.E.E.K (Stronger Living, through Exercise, Ergonomics, Education and Kinesthetics) program, certified L.S.V.T (Lee Silverman Voice Training) BIG clinician progressing Parkinson's patients functional mobility.
In addition, Tyrone also serves as a clinical instructor certified through American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Teaches pre operation classes for patient preparing for knee and hip replacements. He enjoys physical fitness, spending time with his family, reading and golfing.
Nicole Lee
Nicole graduated from CSU, Sacramento in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology/Exercise Science. She graduated with her Masters Degree in Physical Therapy in 2004. She has specialized in Pediatrics since she graduated and focuses most of her continuing education in the field of Neuro-pediatrics and Early Infant Development. She has worked in a multitude of environments including School Based Physical Therapy, High Risk Infant Clinic, Neonatal ICU and Inpatient/Acute Physical Therapy setting. She has spear-headed two programs at UC Davis Medical Center in the hospital to increase mobility and Physical Therapy in the Trauma ICU and Pediatric ICU. Outside of work Nicole enjoys Crossfit, Olympic Weightlifting and spending time with her husband and three children.
Jeffrey Mann
Jeff received his degree in Physical Education with an emphasis in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training and a Minor in Psychology at Humboldt State University. Jeff became a Certified Athletic Trainer and began his career as an Athletic Trainer working at high schools and a physical therapy aide in the outpatient clinical setting. After working at local high schools in Arcata, San Diego and Seattle areas, he then pursued his Physical Therapist Assistant license at Sacramento City College to continue to treat patients in the clinical setting. Jeff has worked in various outpatient settings, inpatient acute care and inpatient rehabilitation unit. He has been working at UC Davis Medical Center since 2005. He is a certified clinical instructor through the APTA and has had the opportunity to mentor more than 10 Physical Therapist Assistant students through the years. In his spare time, he enjoys coaching youth sports, golfing, traveling with family and following soccer.
Kingsley Manoharan
Kingsley received his Bachelors in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Movement Science and his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Boston University. He has worked at UC Davis Health since 2013, treating patients with orthopedic and neurological conditions. In particular, he enjoys rehabilitation in the setting of return to sport. He is also the Amputee Specialist working directly with physician and prosthetist to return patients to walking safely with prosthetic legs. Kingsley is a certified clinical instructor through the APTA. In his spare time, he enjoys snow sports, mountain biking, wood working, and spending time with his family.
Casey Maynard
Casey attended Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington for both his BA in Biology and BS in Physical Education Pre-Therapy, then earned his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the UC San Francisco / SF State joint program. Beginning in 2006, he has continuously worked at UCD Medical Center in the outpatient setting, treating a variety of patients with impairments ranging from orthopedic joint and soft tissue injuries to neurologic diagnoses including CVA, TBI, spinal cord injuries and autoimmune diseases. Additional areas of interest include orthopedic manual therapy and sports rehabilitation. Since 2012, he has served as president of the Jireh Foundation, a local non-profit that funds equipment, supplies and services to improve the quality of life for underserved UCDMC PM&R adult and pediatric patients. In his spare time, Casey enjoys golf and obstacle course racing.
Kay Moultrie
Kay attended UC Davis for her Bachelor of Art and earned her Master’s of Physical Therapy at Sacramento State University in 2008. She started her physical therapy career with UC Davis and over the past 11 years and has worked in all clinical settings of therapy, including acute/subacute, inpatient rehab and outpatient. Kay has worked in the outpatient setting for the past 4 years. She is a dedicated evidence-based practitioner and continues to learn and grow her clinical skills through continuing education coursework and professional webinars. She strives toward helping each individual achieve their functional and recreational goals in order to contribute to overall health and well being. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors which includes vacationing, hiking, and camping as well as spending time with family, friends and her dog.
Joseph Ryan
Joe received his Bachelors in Biology from Santa Clara University and his Masters in Physical Therapy from Emory University. He has worked at U.C. Davis Medical Center since 1996, treating patients on the acute care, rehabilitation and outpatient settings. In 2004, Joe became Neurologic Certified Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). He has also served as Chair, Vice Chair and Newsletter Editor for the Northeast District of the CPTA. Joe has specialized the last 19 years in improving functional mobility in clients with orthopedic and neurologic problems in the outpatient setting. Over the last 6 years, Joe has treated clients with benign paroxysmal positional vertigo and vestibular hypofunction. Joe currently oversees the STEP program at UC Davis, which helps expose high school students to various professions within the field of PM & R. He is Certified Clinical Instructor through the APTA and has mentored over 20 Physical Therapy students over the years. In his spare time, Joe enjoys spending time with his family, travel, coaching youth sports and wood working.
Laura Sifuentes
Laura graduated from UC Davis with her Bachelors of Science in exercise biology and completed her doctorate in physical therapy at the University of Southern California in 2013. Since then, Laura has been working primarily in the outpatient and acute rehabilitation physical therapy settings, treating patients with orthopedic, neurologic, and vestibular diagnoses. Laura started her career at UC Davis in 2017 where she works in the outpatient therapy department and also assists with the Neuromuscular Disease multi-disciplinary clinic. She specializes in working with patients with neurologic dysfunction, including patients with stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, and Parkinson’s disease. She received her certification as a Neurologic Clinical Specialist from the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) in 2018. In her spare time, Laura enjoys being outdoors, traveling, and spending time with her friends, family, and dog.
Steven Sylvester
Steve graduated from California State University, Sacramento with a Master's degree in physical therapy in 2013. He has been working predominately in the outpatient setting ever since, and working at UCDMC since late 2018. Promoting the profession is important to Steve, he is an APTA certified instructor and has mentored several students and written many letters of recommendation for students aspiring to attend PT programs. Steve utilizes Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation, Kinesiotape, cupping and other manual therapies in his practice. Home exercise programs and patient participation are always promoted and he encourages patients to continually assess and improve their overall health. He has a lot of experience treating plantar fascitis, tennis and golfer's elbow, and other tendonitis. Steve loves travelling with his wife and enjoys many outdoor activities including; skiing, surfing, cycling, kayaking, fishing and hiking. He loves the greater Sacramento area for pursuing all these sports.
Sean Sumner
Sean is the Rehab Services Manager for PM&R Outpatient Therapies.
Sean graduated Magna Cum Lade with a bachelor's degree in Health Science and Suma Cum Lade with a master's degree in Physical Therapy from Fresno State University. He has been practicing since 2004 in multiple settings including acute care, acute rehab, pediatric in-home early intervention and outpatient orthopedics. He has been recognized as a CCS paneled practitioner and received his specialty certification as an Orthopedic Clinic Specialist. .
Recently he has been a featured speaker at the UC Davis Spine Conference for primary care physicians, the Fingers to Toes Orthopedic Conference, and guest lecturer for the UC Davis School of Medicine. He has co-authored an article featured in the peer reviewed journal Manual Therapy, co-authored a chapter in the newest edition of the renowned Chapman’s Comprehensive Orthopedic Surgery textbook, and has multiple best-selling books on the subjects of Sciatica and Neck Pain.
In addition to his clinical work, Sean is active in the physical therapy community including representing the Northeast District in the CPTA assembly and assisting with local CPTA leadership and training.
Outside of work he is active with his two young daughters helping in their youth sports programs including coaching volleyball, downhill ski racing and soccer.
Tonya Tocchini
Tonya received her Bachelors of Arts in Sports Sciences from the University of the Pacific and went on to get her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Western University of Health Sciences. Prior to joining UC Davis Medical Center in 2016, she worked in the private practice setting for over 9 years, was a clinic manager and specialized in Prosthetics for over 7 years. Tonya has worked in the outpatient setting most of her career; aiding to improve functional mobility and independence in patients with orthopedic diagnoses along with some neurological diagnoses. She also helped to start our UC Davis Health Physical therapy clinic within the Carmichael/Citrus Heights PCN in July 2018. Outside of work Tonya enjoys hiking, gardening, cooking, watching Broadway shows and traveling.
Romy Villaluz
Romy received his BS degrees in Kinesiology emphasis in Exercise Science from Cal State University, Fresno. He then went onto obtain his AS degree in PT Assistant and is a practicing Physical Therapist Assistant experienced with treating a various patient population from acute inpatient to inpatient Rehab and to Outpatient setting for the last 13 years.
He has a beautiful wife and 2 awesome sons! In his spare time he likes to run up hills, lift heavy things and challenge himself in any way he can.
Jean Kotal
Jean received her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Design and Technology from Northern Illinois University 1984 and worked in professional theatre for several years in the Bay Area. She returned to study and received her Post Baccalaureate degree in Occupational Therapy from Loma Linda University in 1994. She has worked at U.C. Davis Medical Center since 1995, treating patients on the Acute Care, Acute Rehabilitation and Outpatient settings. In 2006, Jean joined the Hand Therapy team focusing on upper extremity post- operative total shoulder replacements, rotator cuff dysfunction, fractures, tendon/ nerve laceration and burn patients for the upper extremities. In 2007, Jean became a Certified Lymphedema Specialist through Klose Lymphedema Training, treating post cancer patients. She has also serves on the board of directors for the Sierra Hand Therapy Foundation that provides networking and education for local and foothill hand therapists. Jean received an Advanced Practice Certification in Hand and Upper Quarter Rehabilitation at Drexel University in 2015. In her spare time, she enjoys dabbling in art and supporting art of all kinds- visual, music and theatre, and traveling with her family.
Kim Groninger
Kim received her degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of New Hampshire. She moved to California from Vermont and started working at UC Davis in 1996. She started on acute care and rotated through inpatient acute rehabilitation and outpatient neuro rehabilitation, primarily treating people with orthopedic, burns, and neurological injuries. In 2002 she became a Certified Hand Therapist and transitioned to Outpatient Hand Therapy and has been there ever since. Kim has been a member and served on the board of the local hand therapist organization, The Sierra Hand Therapy Foundation since 2000. Kim loves the variety of individuals and injuries she is able to work with in her career as a hand therapist. Working with the upper extremity from the shoulder to the hand, with infants to seniors, she finds her work very rewarding. Outside of work Kim is very busy with home life in the foothills. She is married and has young children at home as well as many animals. She enjoys traveling back to the east coast, skiing, horseback riding and working on home and yard projects.
Jonathan Lum
Jonathan Lum graduated from California State University Fresno with a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercises Science in 1998. He returned to graduate school at University of Southern California where he received a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy in 2001. He has been a certified hand therapist since 2009. Jonathan worked at USC Medical Center from 2001-2013 outpatient Hand Therapy, Sutter Medical Foundation in Fairfield outpatient Hand Therapy 2013-2015. He has worked at UC Davis Health since 2015 and works in outpatient Hand Therapy.
Carlo Trinidad
Carlo received a Bachelors of Science in Health Sciences from St. Mary’s College and went on to obtain a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Samuel Merritt College in 1999. He began his career in outpatient Hand Therapy while also working part time in home health and skilled nursing. In 2004, Carlo joined UC Davis Health in the acute care setting. Throughout his first fifteen years at UCD, he gained an extensive breadth of knowledge and experience working as primary occupational therapist in inpatient neurology and on the ventilator weaning floor. He also covered the ICU, Burn Unit, Pediatrics, Emergency Department, PACU and Inpatient Rehab. As a Hands and PAMs Certified occupational therapist, Carlo served as the primary consulting therapist for complex upper extremity injuries, splinting needs and developed the radial nerve splinting program in acute care.
In 2020, Carlo came full circle and returned to outpatient Hand Therapy. Carlo is certified in IASTM, kinesiology taping and myofascial cupping. He recently earned a Certification in Hand Therapy (CHT) and became one of only 6500 CHTs in the country.
Carrie Newman
Carrie Newman received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biopsychology from U.C. Santa Barbara and her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Samuel Merritt University. She has worked at U.C. Davis Medical Center since 1997, treating patients on the acute care, inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient clinical settings. Carrie has specialized the last 17 years in improving independence with activities of daily living and functional mobility for clients with diverse neurologic problems in the outpatient setting. She works with clients across the lifespan with stroke, spinal cord injury, Multiple Sclerosis and traumatic brain injury, among others. Carrie is trained in NeuroDevelopmental Treatment and uses it in her daily practice. Carrie obtained her RESNA Certified Assistive Technology Professional certification to further enhance her skills when completing custom manual wheelchair and power mobility and seating evaluations for her clients. Her clinical interests include working with adult populations with neurological disorders to help improve their quality of life and recovery of function through the use of assistive devices, durable medical equipment, strengthening or adaptive techniques.
Teri Hayward
Teri Hayward has worked at UC Davis Medical Center, in Sacramento, CA since 2010, and serves as lead therapist in outpatient pediatrics, adult multidisciplinary ALS Clinic, and ocular lens implantation OT program. Teri earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Psychology, and Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California.
During her 37 year career, her clinical interests have ranged from treating newborn to geriatric patients, in settings including inpatient acute care, outpatient hospital clinics, skilled nursing rehabilitation facilities, inpatient pediatric psychiatry, school based and private practice pediatric clinics.
Teri currently works as a senior pediatric OT in outpatient therapies, addressing functional and mobility deficits in children across a wide range of congenital and acquired neurological and physical diagnoses. She is trained in sensory integration and praxis treatment, earned a SIPT Certification in 1984 to further her diagnostic and treatment skills, and has specialized in treating children with various functional deficits, impacted by sensory processing challenges. Teri also has a passion for serving patients and their care teams, in the multidisciplinary ALS Clinic, providing individualized, therapeutic intervention and support throughout the progression of their functional decline. Teri provides custom manual wheelchair and power mobility device seating and positioning evaluations for children and adults, enjoys teaching the therapy preoperative classes for adults preparing for joint replacement surgery, and teaching functional mobility educational in-services for residents. Additionally, she has trained and provided pre and postoperative OT services for AMD patients with ocular telescope implants. Beyond professional endeavors, her most treasured accomplishment is as a mother and now grandmother. She’s known as an energetic, outdoor adventurer by friends and family and is forever committed to serving others.
Laduan Smedley
Laduan is a Sacramento native and a certified Prosthetist-Orthotist. Laduan earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Davis in 2009. While in college, he volunteered at the UC Davis Medical Center- Orthotics and Prosthetics Department, were he is now the supervises. After graduating from college, Laduan attended CSU Dominguez Hills were he was trained in orthotics and prosthetics. After graduating, Laduan completed his orthotic and prosthetic residency at a private O&P company and later joined UC Davis Health in 2014. Prior to managing at Davis, Laduan was the manager of the UCLA Health Orthotic and Prosthetic department.
Michael Ginzburg
Mike began his orthotics journey as a Student Volunteer at UC Davis. He completed his Orthotics certification in 2005 and after a couple of years in private practice returned to UC Davis Medical Center. He went on to complete his Masters of Science in Orthotics and Prosthetics in 2016, and Masters of Art in Psychology in 2019.
Mike’s professional interests include chronic pain disorders, limb salvage, and complicated cases involving patients who have had negative experiences with Orthotic interventions in the past. In personal life he enjoys learning, outdoor recreation, video games, gardening and spending time with friends family and his dog.
Rachel White
Rachel White is a certified Prosthetist-Orthotist who has been practicing orthotics since 2009 and prosthetics since 2016. She specializes in the management of scoliosis (both pediatric and adult), other spinal deformities, and spinal fracture management. Rachel earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from California State University, Sacramento. She then went on to study orthotics at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL, earning her graduate degree in Orthotics in 2009. She completed her orthotics residency in Chicago, concentrating on scoliosis and spinal orthotics management. In 2014, she attended the University of Hartford, Connecticut's Newington Prosthetics program and received her post-graduate degree in prosthetics in 2015. Rachel White resides in Sacramento, Ca with her family and currently works out of our UC Davis Spine Center.
Lora DeCristoforo, Psy.D.
Neuropsychologist, Pediatric and Adult
Dr. DeCristoforo is a licensed psychologist specializing in neuropsychology and rehabilitation psychology for children and adults with brain injury, neurological conditions, and neuromuscular conditions. She provides neuropsychological assessment and psychotherapy primarily to a pediatric population serving patients in the hospital and in our outpatient clinic. Dr. DeCristoforo earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at St. Mary’s College, her Master of Arts, Psychology at California State University, Sacramento, and her Doctor of Psychology at the Wright Institute in Berkeley. Prior to joining the staff, Dr. DeCristoforo completed her Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of California, Davis Medical Center. She also supervises psychology students and conducts research with a focus on brain injury, neuropsychological assessment, and pediatric populations.
Kaye S. Hermanson, Ph.D.
Chief Psychologist
Dr. Kaye Hermanson is a licensed psychologist specializing in rehabilitation psychology and health-behavior change. She works primarily on the hospital setting with rehabilitation and acute patients assisting patients with adjustment to chronic and/or disabling conditions. She is an Associate Clinical Professor. Dr. Hermanson graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in psychology. She received a Master of Science degree and a Doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Virginia Tech. Dr. Hermanson completed a clinical research fellowship at Stanford University prior to taking a job with UC Davis. Dr. Hermanson was the training director for the psychology internship and fellowship program in psychology for many years.
Amir Ramezani, Ph.D.

Dr. Amir Ramezani is a licensed psychologist providing assessment and treatment services to help individuals living with injuries and traumas. Dr. Ramezani completed two Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco and University of California, Los Angeles. He earned a PhD at University of North Texas. He is an Associate Clinical Professor. He has experience and training in various types of evaluations (e.g., neuropsychological, pre-surgical, disability, civil and criminal forensics) as well as therapeutic systems (e.g., Mindful Self-Compassion [MSC], Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy [MBCT], CBT, and EMDR). He has also published in the areas of neurocognition, integrative psychotherapy, culture, and teaching methods. Robin Timm, Ph.D.
Neuropsychologist, Pediatric and Adult
Dr. Robin Timm is a licensed psychologist specializing in neuropsychology and rehabilitation psychology for children and adults with brain injury, neurological conditions, chronic pain, neuromuscular conditions and other physical disabilities. She conducts pediatric and adult neuropsychological assessments, presurgical evaluations, pain evaluations, and individual pain and psychological treatment for adults. Dr. Timm earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at University of California, Berkeley, her Master of Arts in Psychology at Sonoma State University, and her Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology at CSPP/Alliant University. Prior to joining the staff, Dr. Timm completed a two-year Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of California, Davis Medical Center followed by work at other major medical centers in Northern California. Dr. Timm also supervises psychology students and conducts research with a focus on brain injury, neuropsychological assessment, schizophrenia, pediatric cognitive sequela, and disability.
Emmanuel Zamora, Psy.D.
Neuropsychologist, Pediatric and Adult
Dr. Emmanuel Zamora is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in neuropsychological and personality assessment, forensics, adult psychotherapy, and child and family psychotherapy. He earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Sonoma State University and Masters and Doctoral degrees in clinical psychology from The Wright Institute. At UC Davis Health he provides neuropsychological and pre-surgical evaluations, as well as brief psychotherapy. Dr. Zamora’s professional interests include reducing health disparities, brief psychodynamic therapy, and Spanish language psychological assessment in the US. He is an adjunct clinical faculty member at the Wright Institute.
