Sarah Farias is a practicing neuropsychologist and internationally recognized leader in Alzheimer's disease and cognitive aging. Her research, which is funded by multiple agencies including the NIH, focuses on early signs of cognitive impairment, their impact on everyday functioning, and the development and evaluation of behavioral and lifestyle interventions to delay cognitive decline and support independence among older adults.
As an expert diagnostician, care consultant and therapist, David Johnson educates and supports families coping with late life chronic neurological disease burden. He is recognized internationally and has published over 100 peer-reviewed manuscripts. His research interests include biological bases of human memory, neuropsychiatric symptoms of dementia and public health initiatives promoting positive lifestyle adoption in Black and Latino older adults.
