    Talk-DS Study

Children with Down syndrome often have delays in expressive communication, but we still don’t know enough about how these skills grow and change over time. Because of this, families and professionals often lack clear answers about whether children are “meeting milestones” or when extra support might be needed.

By learning about your experiences, we hope to create a more accurate and meaningful way of monitoring communication development to help families and providers support each child more effectively.
