About Ann: Ann researches the diverse fates of stem cells in regenerative medicine and cancer. During her undergraduate years at UCLA, she researched alternative splicing in bone marrow stem cells that differentiate into adipocytes or osteoblasts with Dr. John Adams at the Orthopaedic Hospital Research Center. After, she spent two years in the Dr. Arnold Chin Lab at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine elucidating the relationship between the immune system and bladder cancer in patients. In her free time, she enjoys producing her own music, playing violin in orchestra, and drawing new fashions.
