Clinical Interests

Dr. Yala is a general cardiologist offering care for adult with heart diseases such heart failure with preserved and reduced ejection fraction. She has special clinical interest and expertise in advanced heart failure, guideline directed medical teraphy implementation, and remote heart failure care. Also specializes in the care of patients with rare cardiomyopathies such as cardiac sarcoidosis and cardiac amyloidosis.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Yala’s research focuses on improving the adherence to guideline medical therapies, especially through heart failure remote care. She contributes to several research projects within the Division of Cardiology, Section of Advanced Heart Failure focused on Precision Medicine and mitigating health disparities.
