My philosophy is to educate my patients using easy to understand language, to empower patients to make healthy lifestyle changes, and to work together to create a unique plan that works for each patient. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking and visiting National Parks, gardening, cooking and baking.
Dr. Beck is a general adult nephrologist offering care for patients across the spectrum of kidney conditions, including chronic kidney disease, diabetic kidney disease, hypertension, electrolyte disorders, kidney stones and preparation for dialysis and kidney transplant. She also provides dialysis care to patients at various centers in the community. She has a clinical interest in the role of diet and nutrition in kidney health and wellbeing.
Dr. Beck has a special interest in medical education within the University, beginning at the medical student level. She strives to build strong mentoring relationships with medical students and residents to encourage early interest in the field of nephrology.
