Dr. Jimenez is passionate about providing high-quality, evidence-based care to his patients. He is experienced in caring for underserved and vulnerable populations and practices shared decision-making with his patients. In his spare time Dr. Jimenez enjoys playing tennis, following his favorite sports teams, and spending time with his family.
Dr. Jimenez is a board certified Internal Medicine physician. His clinical interests include medication assisted treatment (MAT) for substance use disorders, transgender care including management of hormone therapy, and caring for underserved and vulnerable populations. He also enjoys teaching and mentoring medical students and residents.
Dr. Jimenez is a proponent of reducing health disparities among minority/native populations and rural populations. To that end he is involved in projects which promote healthcare workforce diversity and improved care for rural Northern California populations.
Dr. Jimenez believes "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure." To that end, he works with CA Quits to promote tobacco cessation best practices among hospitals and clinics.
