One of the most important parts of my job is to work with patients to understand their health goals and to then ensure that the care I provide is aligned with those goals. I believe that all patients, regardless of background, deserve access to comprehensive, high-quality health care.
Dr. Landefeld is a general internist and rheumatologist at UC Davis. He enjoys developing longitudinal relationships with patients, and has particular interests in arthritic and autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, gout, vasculitis, systemic sclerosis, and lupus. In addition to clinical work, he teaches internal medicine residents and rheumatology fellows in clinic and the hospital.
