Dr. Chen is a transplant nephrologist who cares for adults who have received kidney transplants. She also evaluates patients with end stage kidney disease for transplant candidacy and potential living kidney donors for donor candidacy. She has a special interest in the lifestyle factors that contribute to transplant candidacy and post-transplant success, including nutrition and exercise interventions and assessments.

Research/Academic Interests

Dr. Chen is dedicated to developing a wide array of clinical trial options for patients at UC Davis and has helped to build an active and diverse portfolio of clinical trials, including studies of immunosuppression, transplant diagnostics, and post-transplant therapeutics.
