Dr. Byambaa's research focuses on reducing atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease through better understanding the pathophysiology contributing to the disease and identifying novel risk factors for prevention and intervention opportunities. She also has interest in precision nutrition for health and disease as well as in public health research.
