Gender Affirming Care | UC Davis Health

The Gender Affirming Care Clinic provides care for adult transgender, nonbinary, and gender-diverse individuals in a welcoming environment, where clinicians use an informed consent approach to starting and managing gender-affirming hormone therapy. The clinic can also assist with navigation and referrals for specialty care, gender-affirming surgeries and provide some sexual and reproductive health services. 

We offer:

• Counseling, initiation, and management for gender-affirming hormone therapy 
• Counseling, navigation, and referrals for gender-affirming surgeries 
• Select sexual and reproductive health services

UC Davis Health’s gender-affirming care options are provided in a safe, inclusive, caring and understanding environment.  Primary care for transgender, nonbinary, and gender-diverse patients is provided by UC Davis Health’s primary care providers in the UC Davis Medical Group. This clinic is for adults aged 18 years and older.  Information for patients under the age of 18 can be found here.
