Update: Masking requirement lifted

Dear Colleagues,

Respiratory disease activity has continued to decline, with both influenza and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) at very low levels. Sacramento County Public Health is lifting the masking mandate as of April 6, 2026. Effective today, UC Davis Health will no longer require masking. Health care workers with underlying health conditions, including those who are immunocompromised, should still consider wearing a mask.
