Our pediatric infectious disease physicians diagnose and treat infants, children and adolescents for a comprehensive range of pediatric infections, from common conditions to rarely seen and exotic infections.

Conditions and diseases we treat include:

  • Abscesses
  • Cat scratch disease
  • Congenital infections including cytomegalovirus (CMV) and syphilis
  • COVID & MIS-C
  • Endocarditis (infection of the heart)
  • Fever of unknown origin or recurrent fever
  • Hepatitis

  • HIV-exposed infants
  • Immunization counseling and management of adverse effects following immunization
  • Infections of the bones and joints such as osteomyelitis and septic arthritis

The multidisciplinary team of infectious disease specialists offer a complete spectrum of inpatient and outpatient services for infectious diseases in infants, children and adolescents.

Our specialists provide patient care at UC Davis Children’s Hospital as well as at the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Clinic.
