UC Davis Cancer Care Network
Our Mission
The UC Davis Cancer Care Network (CCN) is a national model for optimizing integrated, collaborative cancer care between community cancer centers and an academic medical center (UC Davis Health) to improve access to quality oncology care and clinical trials. The CCN provides leadership in transformative cancer care, research, and education for diverse communities throughout Northern and Central California.
The UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center NCI Designation
The CCN partners with many departments throughout UC Davis Health including the UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center. The Comprehensive Cancer Center is one of only 56 cancer centers in the United States designated as a "comprehensive" cancer center by the National Cancer Institute (NCI). An NCI designation means patients get access to leading-edge treatments, personalized therapies, and clinical trials. It also means that our clinical physicians are collaborating with researchers to develop new approaches to detecting, preventing, and beating cancer for all populations.
