Dr. Green takes a special interest in resolving issues in patient with complex and atypical conditions caused by nutrient deficiencies and imbalances.
Dr. Green specializes in Anemias caused by micronutrients deficiencies with particular focus on vitamin B12, folate and iron. Dr. Green consults on patients with problems relating to anemia. He offers expert opinions on appropriate diagnostic testing and treatment for nutritional anemia.
Dr. Green's research has focused on;
*Improved methods to diagnose vitamin B12 and other micronutrient deficiencies or imbalances;
*The role of vitamin B12 and other micro-nutrients in the causation of Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, and other neurodegenerative disorders;
*The role of folate excess and B12 deficiencies during pregnancy as a risk factor for neurodevelopmental disorders in children
