Dr. Graff applies his four board certifications in anatomic pathology, clinical pathology, hematopathology, and clinical informatics to accurately and efficiently diagnosis his patients allowing them access to the most optimal treatments available. As an osteopathic trained physician Dr. Graff considers the whole patient when reviewing their biopsies and laboratory data.
Dr. Graff's cliniical interests are malignant and non-malignant hematopathology with integration of flow cytometry and molecular testing to provide the most accurate diagnosis for my patient’s.
Dr. Graff is the associate director of clinical informatics at UC Davis Medical Center, actively training the next generation of physicians on how technology can improve the lives of patient’s and the physicians who work with them. Through his role in informatics and his expertise in machine learning, he as worked on a California wide initiative to classify the causes and types of Alzheimer’s dementia; working closely with his colleges at the other University of California campuses. Additionally, Dr. Graff has applied his expertise in Hematopathology in several publications related to the recent and ongoing COVID-10 pandemic and its impacts on the hematologic system. These publications help diagnosis and treat those critically ill with the virus as we discover more about its Pathophysiology.
