Tochi Nwaneri Nwosu, M.D.
Specialties:
- Internal Medicine
- Hospice and Palliative Medicine
I am a board-certified Internal Medicine physician and Hospice & Palliative Care Attending, where I will provide care through inpatient palliative care consultations, outpatient supportive oncology clinic with the cancer center, and hospice services. I am passionate about delivering compassionate, patient centered care that prioritizes quality of life, symptom management, and meaningful communication for patients and families navigating serious illness or all backgrounds.
I was born and raised in Southern California, and a proud first-generation Nigerian American physician whose journey into medicine has been shaped by faith, perseverance, and a commitment to service.
I was drawn to hospice and palliative medicine by the opportunity to care for the whole person rather than solely the disease process. I also value building authentic relationships with patients and families while helping guide medical care in alignment with each patient’s goals, values, and dignity. My other clinical interests include medical education and mentorship for early-stage medical trainees.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy fitness, basketball, storytelling, and content creation focused on medicine, personal growth, discipline, and faith.
