A neuropsychological evaluation is a useful tool to better understand a person's thinking abilities, emotional wellbeing, and how neurological conditions can affect someone's daily functioning and level of independence. My goal is to help you and your family understand your cognitive strengths and weaknesses and utilize specific recommendations and community resources to maximize your quality of life while coping with a complex neurological condition. I also care deeply about increasing access to comprehensive services, particularly for non-native English speakers and individuals from minoritized populations.
Dr. Ranucci is a clinical neuropsychologist offering neuropsychological evaluations for children and adults with various neurologic conditions across the lifespan. She has a special clinical interest in epilepsy and works within the UC Davis Comprehensive Epilepsy Program to support patients with epilepsy throughout the surgical planning process, including providing pre- and post-surgical evaluations, Wada evaluations, and intraoperative and extraoperative language mappings. Dr. Ranucci is also a bilingual Spanish speaker and offers neuropsychological services directly in Spanish.
