Local Psychiatrists

The following is not an exhaustive list, but identifies physicians who have volunteered to be listed as eager to provide services to UC Davis Medical Center medical students, residents, and faculty, and have agreed to the following conditions:

1. Open their panel for medical students, residents, and/or faculty members if closed.
2. To allow medical students, residents, and/or faculty members to page and/or email them with personal health care issues and to be flexible in arranging appointments so as to take into account their responsibilities as a medical professional.
3. To allow their phone, pager, email information to be listed on the UC Davis Health's Medical Staff Well-Being Committee Stress and Depression outreach program website.
4. Arrange an alternate payment agreement if they do not accept the medical student’s, resident’s, and/or faculty member’s insurance.

Medical Students Please Note: Medical students can access psychiatric services at Student Health Counseling Services on the Davis Campus by calling 530-752-2349.

Students who have Western Health Advantage can also access psychiatric services through their behavioral health insurance providers website at www.magellanassist.com. From there, you will need to enter the following information to access participating provider information:

1.) Click on “Enter or Register as a Guest”
2.) Enter 8004241778
3.) Click "Accept and Enter as A Guest”
4.) Click on the “Find a Provider” tab
5.) Click “Find a Provider Today” link
6.) Under “Choose a Provider List,” select “Behavioral Health Programs”
7.) Enter your Zip Code
