Ducore, Mahajan and Pawar named 'Top Docs'
UC Davis Hemostasis and Thrombosis Center (HTC) hematologists Jonathan M. Ducore, Anjlee Mahajan and Anjali Pawar were named in Sacramento Magazine's annual list of top doctors.
Ducore is a pediatric hematologist and is co-director of the UC Davis HTC. For more than 25 years, Ducore has managed the treatment of children with bleeding and clotting disorders at HTC. In addition to his patient care responsibilities, he is involved with clinical trials for improving the clinical management of bleeding and clotting disorders.
Pawar is the medical director of UC Davis Medical Center’s Pediatric Infusion Center and an esteemed pediatric hematologist on the HTC pediatric team. She is the inspiration behind our monthly Women and Adolescent Girls with Bleeding Disorders Clinic and works very closely with the pediatric team to provide care to patients with bleeding and clotting issues. Her research interests concentrate on children and adolescents with bleeding and clotting disorders.
Mahajan is a hematologist specializing in thrombosis and bleeding disorders. She is a member of comprehensive hemophilia clinics team and her research interests include thrombosis, bleeding disorders and patient outcomes.
Ducore, Mahajan and Pawar, along with 216 physicians from throughout UC Davis Health are honored. The physicians are from 60 specialty areas, including 16 pediatric subspecialties. The line up of regional experts appears in the December 2019 issue.
Sacramento Magazine’s annual Top Docs list is compiled by a third-party firm, based on peer-review surveys. Thousands of doctors from various health systems and medical groups are asked to nominate colleagues they deem best in their given specialties, according to Professional Research Services, which compiles the list for the magazine.
