Breastfeeding

In-person Breastfeeding classes:

Join a UC Davis IBCLC to learn about basic baby behaviors, newborn care, and breastfeeding. This engaging and comfortable in-person class is a mixture of hands-on, lecture, and video learning. Partners are encouraged to attend. Dress comfortably and bring snacks/water for a fun and information-packed evening. Class located at 4900 Broadway, Suite 1630 Sacramento, CA 95820.

Online Breastfeeding classes:

Breastfeeding classes will be 2-3 hours of self-guided online content.

    Cost: Free with a deposit

    $35 registration deposit. Registration deposit is returned upon completion of class. Cancellation must be requested five days prior to the class date to receive a deposit refund.

    $35 registration fee. Cancellation must be requested five days prior to class date to receive a full refund. A $35 service fee will be charged after this date.

    In-Person Support Group (Sacramento Only): Come as you are to our peer-driven Lactation Support group on Mondays (except holidays) from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the Glassrock Building, Room 7106 (2521 Stockton Blvd) to discuss personal experiences, challenges and triumphs in your baby's first year and beyond. Parking is free.

    Parking

    Parking is available in the Broadway Building, DOJ or EDD parking lots with either a B permit or daily permit. Daily permits are available for purchase with the ParkMobile app using zone number 42201. Please visit Parking and Transportation Services for more information.
