Dietetic Internship

Preparing students with clinical nutrition knowledge to enter careers as registered dietitians.

The UC Davis Health Dietetic Internship is a full-time, hospital-based program with a concentration in clinical nutrition within an academic health system.

The program accepts a maximum of six interns annually. We are proud to have over 100 interns who graduated since its origination in 2003. Upon completing the internship, graduates are eligible to sit for the Registration Examination for Dietitians administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. We aim to prepare graduates for entry-level practice and lifelong learning in their future careers as registered dietitians.
