This course is a self-directed eLearning module designed for UC Davis Health Nurses who are interested in the management of neuroscience patients.
This course covers a variety of evidence-based information, updates, and innovation in the field of neuroscience. This course will enhance the participant’s knowledge of advances in the treatment and management of a range of neurological conditions. It is designed for all interprofessional care providers of patients who have Deep Brain Stimulators placed, experience second phase seizures, require lumbar drain management for hydrocephalus or have had skull base tumors removed. To receive continuing education credit, participants must attest to full participation in the virtual learning.
Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider number CEP 26, for 6.5 contact hours.
