Caring for the Pediatric Short Bowel Syndrome Patient

This course will provide the education to understand the care of pediatric patients with short bowel syndrome, with a focus on the goals of intestinal rehab, the NICU course of care, surgical needs that result in short bowel syndrome and the care of the hospitalized child and preparing for discharge.

Virtual Session Requirements

Follow the virtual participation guidelines, including being on camera, engaging in activities, and attesting to participation.

Continuing Education Contact Hours

Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider number CEP 26, for 3.75 contact hours.

Attendees will not receive C.E. credit if they are more than 5 minutes late; no partial credit can be awarded.

Parking
