Brian Underwood
Underwood graduated with a degree in General Science from Cypress College in 2001. He majored in Computer Science and minored in Mathematics at California State University, Long Beach. Before moving to the Sacramento area in 2004, Brian worked for Nestlé and Hewlett Packard as part of a team of deployment engineers assisting in the migration of 13,000 desktop and laptop computers located throughout North America from Windows NT to Windows 2000.
Brian joined the Center for Professional Practice of Nursing (CPPN) in 2004 and has been responsible for developing the CPPN website, administering the university’s Learning Management System (LMS), and has been the department's Computer Resource Specialist (CRS). Brian supports staff with UC Learning Center, develops eLearning courses, coordinates classes, and maintains the CPPN website.
