Shannon Haggitt joined the Center for Healthcare Policy and Research (CHPR) in October 2018 and currently serves as the Plan and Partner Manager for CA Quits, a statewide initiative funded by the California Department of Public Health’s Tobacco Prevention Program. In this role, she supports the integration of tobacco treatment and population health strategies within healthcare systems and health plans serving California’s diverse Medi-Cal population through training, technical assistance, cross-sector collaboration, and guiding strategic efforts to strengthen tobacco treatment integration across various points of care.
Prior to joining CHPR, Shannon worked within Alaska’s tribal healthcare system, where she focused on statewide initiatives, healthcare systems change, community engagement, and providing direct patient services.
